The fishing now is best in the ocean out of La Push. We are getting daily limits of Coho (silvers) with a weight average of 12lbs and several in the teens. These fish are gaining a pound or two a week and by Sept. the average will be in the mid teens. We are seeing a few Chinook (kings) but not on a daily bases. Most of the people are really impressed with the silvers on how fast they are and the aerial displays.

Area 3 La Push has already filled the quota but was able to get more fish from another area. The fishing is that great. We expect to fish the rest of the season of Sept. 20.

Oct. and Nov. this massive run of silvers will be in the rivers. There is going to be so many fish that the state raised the limit to four adult fish. Two have to be hatchery silvers and the other two can be wild silvers or kings. We are going to see a lot of fish.

There is also tuna off the coast a little spotty yet but some big numbers have bean brought in.

Thanks
Randy
