Looks good BeeLee. Will probably be placing an order soon. I am pretty picky about the quality of strung marabou though. Most of it is crap these days.

Beelee, (or anyone else)

If a new steelhead fisherman were trying to purchase floats, in-line weights, and jigs, what would the match up be?

What weights are recommended for what jigs and floats and under what conditions?

My personal favorite set up is:
1/2 ounce float
1/4 ounce in-line weight
1/8 ounce jig

This set up seems to do well in most all conditions for me. A 1/8 ounce jig is pretty much an all terrain jig weight.

I don't have Marabou available yet, but plan to have it soon. My site is pretty new and we plan to expand as business picks up.

The Marabou I will be stocking will be the Blood quills from Hareline Dubbin. These feathers seem to be better for jig tying.

Look for our add in the October issue of STS Magazine.
