I haven't been able to get out lately. Just wondering if there are any new reports out there.

the tuc has been off drastically the last few weeks, well, since mid-december. The pressure has be relatively light, and so has the action.

I decided to head out yesterday at the early hour of 11:00 to hit either the touchet or tucannon. I noticed a fair amount of people on the touchet and decided to hit the tuc. I couldn't believe the number of people I found on the tuc. I grabbed the rod anyways and hit a spot that I hadn't fished this year. I managed to hit one little hatchery fish and one nice native in just an hour and a half but decided to call it quits because there was someone in every stretch that I like to fish. I will probably head back on friday to see if I can get a few more.

After many weeks of being too busy, I finally got some free time and hit the Tucannon both Saturday and Sunday. Despite water temps in the low 40's the fish were pretty cooperative. I got 3 fish on Saturday and 6 on Sunday all on eggs including 1 nice hatchery female for more eggs :). I guess I'm glad I got an early start because the place seemed deserted to me. I only saw 2 other anglers on Saturday and none on Sunday but I did do a lot of bushwhacking to keep it that way. Some of the fish are getting pretty beat up but the hatchery female was nearly as bright as some are in September!! I posted pics of some of the catch in the photo gallery. Hope the rest of you had a great weekend!!

I fish the touchet about 3-4 times a week, just two weeks ago i caught a 21 inch 3 lb. german brown on a wedding ring. I was up towards the end of the forth street part of the dike. Other than that I have caught alot of rainbows on the wedding rings and on the green wooly buggers. I don't use any bait or anything. But I have learned to stay far away from the people that are, otherwise yours will be the last they hit! Especially the big ones
