Here are some simple instructions on creating your own snell hook knot.

Step One

Pass six-inches of line through the eye of the hook, then while holding the line against the shank of the hook, form a circle.

Step Two

Make four to six turns around the shank of the hook and back through the circle you created.

Step Three

Tighten the knot by slowly pulling the line above the terminal tackle and the tag end at the same time. Trim tag.
