The 1st Annual Budweiser - Lowrance King Salmon Derby will be held on August 4th, 5th & 6th in Brewster, WA. The Wells pool at the confluence of the Columbia & Okanogan rivers is one of the best King Salmon fishing areas in the state. The Brewster Chamber of Commerce along with Budweiser and Lowrance is sponsoring this event.

$1000 1st prize with an entry fee of $35.00 and your entry fee also enters you into a drawing for an Eagle 2000c depthfinder or a Scotty 1106 electric downrigger or a Lowrance X135 depthfinder or a Lamiglass rod & reel combo set. Side pots and additonal raffle prizes available. Top 20 places will be cash or prizes and only 400 tickets will be sold.

There will be a seminar Thursday night August 3rd at the Legion Hall in Brewster (Main & 3rd St.). Big River Steelhead Outfittersrs and R&R Guide Service will be demonstrating Salmon fishing techniques. Washington State Fish & Game will also be discussing rules & regulations. Lowrance and Hooked on Toys will also have displays and all of the prizes will be on display.
