Wallula Junction has been a very lucky place for me this year. In the past I have had very little luck, but this year in three trips I have caught three nice size and one large steelhead. The large one that I was able to bring home ended up being 38" long and weighing in at 27 1/2 pounds (my biggest one yet:). On my first day out the guy standing next to me caught two steelhead that was as big, if not bigger than the monster I caught today.

Now the important stuff:
I have been bank fishing, using a black rock dancer jig with natural colored shrimp. For scent try using "Smelly Jelly" special mix made for steelhead fishing. My depth has been set for six feet using a non weighted slip bobber.

Good Luck
