I got this combo rod years ago. Someone has done a bad job trying to re-tie some of the guides. It is optagon shaped and has 5 pieces.
This is the ujnique part of this setup.
First the handle pulls out and reverses so you can pick if you want to fly fish of spin fish.
Then there is a section that attatches to the butt to make a spinning rod which is about 5'5" long
For the Fly combo there is a middle section that attaches to the butt and then two different tips can be placed in on the end of that making a Fly Rod of around 8' 6"
I would really like to one day find out how old it is and what it's worth. I would also like to find a person who know's how to restore antique rods and see if I couldn't get it back to it former days of glory.
