Hey all.. I just wanted to share a bit of off topic information with you. Before I begin, please keep in mind that this is my opinion only..
After several years of fighting with contact lenses and glasses, I decided to go through with LASIK. I just completed this process and am very pleased with the result. The sugery was very quick and painless. The staff was amazing..
I am very excited to be able to use my new polarized sun glasses for fly fishing this season. (Water providing) I had a pair of prescription glass which gave me the ability to see into the water further..
Anyhows... That's about all the .02's I have!
Has anyone else here been through this process?

I haven't yet, but want to in the near future. I am also getting tired of messing around with contacts. Where did you go to get it done?

I had it done in Kennewick Washington.
Here's the link.

Same company has many other locations. Dr. Peters was the one who did my surgery. I was very comfortable with him as a surgeon.

Keep us posted on how it goes, Glock. One of these days I'll probably do it too. I'm sick of looking like a weenie in clip-ons and can't wear contacts.

My wife had it done in Canada 4 years back, after wearing glasses all her life (36 at the time). All she ever says is, it was the best thing she could have ever done and wished she would have done it sooner. She is so happy about the new vision she has. No more glasses or contacts to mess with. Did I say she was happy?
