Took the family on vacation to northern Idaho, stayed about 20 miles north of Bonners Ferry at a forest guard station. cost us $50 a night with running water and electricity right on the moyie river.
Had a excellent week of lounging around drinking beer taking in the wildlife and YES finally got to use the fly fishing pole.
the fish where not huge most around 8 inches but i tell you now a rainbow on a fly pole is a riot and i don;t think i ever had so much fun in my life
the fishing was better than fair with a bite on about every 3rd or 4th cast and prolly actually hooking about every 3rd bite.

the river was cold and without waders i was only able to fish for 30 minutes at a time.

It was a absolute blast though.
hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th

Good to see you had a good time, and someone from this board is still alive. You need to come up here this summer and try out the Yakima for fly fishing, It is a blast
