Hey I'm new to this site. I was wondering if anyone could tell me when the grande rounde closes right down below Anetone by the hatchery. I heard it was doing really well and wanted to know if I had time to get down there.

From County Road bridge to the Oregon state line steelhead is open until April 15th. Right now should be the peak for the Cottonwood fishery unless the river turns to mud.

PascoSuckercatcher can't spell Boggan's right, so I'll give you the phone number so it's easy to find: 509-256-3372.

Ya gotta watch out for crackers on these boards, RAE!

Brian, I think you owe me a fishing trip for editing your posts!

Lol, done Adipose. Sturgeon, walleye, springers, smallmouth, or steelhead?

You pick, Brian. Prolly has to be in June or so tho, because we're having a baby this week! So much for springer fishing! Maybe I can talk my wife into naming her "Chinook" or something like that. . . .

Congrats on the baby! It's never too early to buy the newborn a fishing rod! Smile

Thanks, Glock. Maybe instead of cigars I should pass out Snoopy rods!

Congrats Dan!

Lets see...June. Last half of June will be red hot for shad. Sturgeon will be good, smallmouth should be in full swing, walleye is good, and a few steelies too. Maybe a combo sturgeon/smallmouth on the Reach or shad/sturgeon below McNary.

I'd probably lean toward shad/sturgeon at McNary, but any of the above sounds good to me. And after 2 months of sleep deprivation, I'll probably just sleep on the boat anyway!
