I invite all members to offer input about locking the forums down to registered users only.
I initially thought that having unlocked forums which allow anonymous posters would help those who wanted to post but not register. I am now not so sure. Over the last several weaks, we have had several people using the forums to post spam.
What are your thoughts?

glock I could not agree more with you. If the non registered users would like to share some knowledge or information then it only takes but a couple of minutes to register. Besides that if they are taking the time to make a post or reply then their is no reason why they cannot register as a user for whenever they visit the site. If they just want to browse and read the posts then by all means let them without registering. I say close it down to non registered users making posts, we don't need a bunch of crap on this site.
