how did you guys do it looked awful slow out there i picked up one in the old crestliner

It looked super slow....we had a hell of a day though. We only saw two other fish caught. We boated nine (eight steelies and one salmon), and missed two. It was an unbelievable day. Only two of the eight were hatcheries though. About a 10lb buck, and a 7 lb hen. All in all, it was a great day!

I didn't Frank. We were having success with all kinds of different colors, so I didn't give it a try. If we were slow, I was going to try.

I had a great night on sunday. Fished from 6-10pm We caught 6 steelhead for 2 poles. 3 wild, 3 hatchery. 6lb keepers. Biggest was a 10lb native. What a fight!! On the last fish of the night. The frame on my net broke. I ended up netting the last fish holding just the net open to scoop the fish in. I was in elbow deep trying to net this fish. Had a great time.

Was there anyone else out there having success? I couldn't believe that we kept pulling them in, and nobody else was. I guess it was just a case of having the right color, in the right spot, at the right time!
