Thanks Starfish, I have never been there, but the dam counts are good. What is the standard way to fish the bobber&shrimp?

OthelloAngler,

Welcome to our site. We have collected over 5 years of information and all of which is available in for searching. Most people are using a slip bobber or "float", a hook or maribu style jig (with shrimp), and bobber stops. All depend on preference.
Here are a few links from our website. There are many many more within.

Any recent info on the Tuc or Snake at Little Goose? Anyone had any luck catching a 'nook? Planning on heading down this Sunday and would appreciate any feedback...

Fished the lower wall at Little Goose on Saturday afternoon. Saw several natives get released and one nice hatchery brat go in a cooler. Missed two solid takedowns and "released" 4 suckers. Saw just about every color Spin-n-glo imaginable being used. Red shrimp was the bait of choice. Did stop and fish the Tuc for awhile. Real slow. Really slow.

I fished the Snake across the river from Little Goose Dam yesterday. Released one native and that was it. Fished from sunup to sundown. I did manage to drink a beer or two...

I am glad to read a positive report on fishing on the Snake River. I had heard that steelhead strikes really took a nose dive during the course of the last week.

The beer can always be an added bonus.

I fished the wall all day yesterday and it was slow. Saw one keeper caught all day... Time to move to the hatchery it sounds like.
