Ok as Some might remember October 1, is the normal opening date for stugeon in the portland area up to the bonniville dam, well it is also my birthday so i take vacation just to get out and kill something.
Well the rules change made it open earlier this year and my best friend kenny is back from floida. so we have manage to kill some already but this last weekend i got out on sunday and monday and tuesday bank fishing at bonniville,
sunday there was 3 of us and within 10 mins we had a 44 on the bank, and couple hours later i landed a fat 50.5 and shortly there after we got a 49.
on monday (my actual b-day) me and kenny escaped about 10 am from the wifes and ran out to bonniville, within 15 mins our poles go off at the same time, as we both reel down to set the hook kenny yells RACE YA, well i set the hook and nothing there..... i WIN .... kenny battles a 51 for a good 20 mins, a short time later i hooked into a fiesty 44 and we was gone in a hour and half.
today we went out and fishing was extremely slow was at the bank for 5 hours and saw 5 fish caught not the best day but still better than working.

on the way home we stopped at the fishery and it looks like if i use the east ramp i can take the boat out thursday and then i shall decide how to fill the tag over the weeknd.
