Well I met a Gent at work today that said the walla walla was hot hot hot. I did everything he told me about bouncing a jig off the bottom with a pink shrimp and nothing. Anyone else having any luck. The river was a bit high and a bit muddy also...

Checked out the Walla Walla Sunday from Touchet to the mouth and saw a very muddy river. Your friend must be up into Oregon fishing.

It looks to me like the Walla Walla blew out about Saturday or Sunday and is still running awfully high according to the graph. I was hoping to take a float in the new/old driftboat this weekend but I think it's going to have to wait.

Where do you drift Starfish? I thought about using a jon boat and float the walla walla from about touchet mouth to the walla walla mouth...

I've drifted a couple of times from Touchet bridge down to Cummins. It hasn't been super productive but it's a lot of fun. I'd be a little hesitant to do it with a jon boat because there are a few skinny spots but with a drifter it's pretty easy.

It would be way to far to go all the way to the WW mouth from there though! It's all day just getting to Cummins if you do any fishing.

Hey, has anyone looked at the WW or Touchet lately? The flows looked like they dropped back into reasonable shape and I wondered if they're back in business. I didn't get a chance to check it out myself.
