I wan't to go out and do some pheasant hunting, but I do not have any dogs. I pretty much run around in the brush all day trying to spook something up. If you are planning to go out anytime soon let me know I would love to tag along.

While Dev88t and I were out at the Tucannon on Saturday I saw a ton of quail and plenty of access for hunting. I think I am going to try and go down and get some combo action, fishing in the morning and hunting in the evening or hunting in the morning and fishing in the evening. I suppose it really doesn't matter, I mean how can you beat that.

This was last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10-27 to 29. I used my shorthair Friday and Sunday. I used my Lab Saturday. I am not sure if I am going out this weekend. I might stick around the house and build points with my wife so I can go out all next weekend. I tried using a vest on my shorthair but it chaiffed so bad I won't be using it again.

It sounds like agreat time. I saw several roosters out around Hartsock Grade near Tucannon the other day when I was hiking. I didn't see any fish, but the wildlife was plenty!

My daughter and I went pheasant hunting around the Tucannon river breaks. It was our first time in the area and we didn't know where to go. We saw a few birds, but not much. It was a great trip though, my 12 year old daughter's first trip carrying a gun.
