The Drano season is winding down, but if you go now, you can still find fish, and you'll have the lake virtually to yourself (at least by Drano standards). I fished it Sunday eve and Monday. Action was spotty, but we had a good evening bite and managed 4 fish--two keepers at 9 and 5 pounds and two natives released; one of which was probably around 13#. Fished the Deschutes Tuesday on the way home. I got zipped, but my brother turned a nice bright native loose. Saw lots of other folks fighting fish in the water or hefting them up and down the trail, including one that had to be 20#. The Deschutes is only 2 hours from Tri-cities, but of course you gotta have a OR license. It's looking to be a good season,
