With the new changes to the sturgeon regulations where you only can keep 5 sturgeon a year I know my pole gonna get some cobb webs on it if i not picky about what i bring home. So that leads me into the question of what to fish for and what other fish has nice tasty firm white meat that I can catch locally? CATFISH, so now my question to you all is, I live in Portland and would love to target some of these critters especially channel cats but I don't wanna have to drive forever to catch some do any of you know where to target these buggers in the Portland area ?

I see you posted this a very long time ago. I to live in the portland area and looking for some fishing spots for channel cats. Since you posted this over a year ago maybe you could tell me what you have found with your over a year, almost two years of research?
