Started the day at work and in my travels decided to go by the EH because I saw John Leases truck there. Stopped in to say hi and he asked me what I had planned for the day and if I wanted to go do a fun trip Very Happy Within about 30 seconds I had called my boss with a eye problem (couldnt see staying at work) and told him I was taking the rest of the day off. I met John and Steve Hayes at Rhinehart park at 10:45, By 11:15 we had the shuttle done, rods strung up and ready to go. I started off with a Oct. caddis dry and Im not sure what you call the fly Steve had on but he had a Stone dropper on. Prolly my 3rd cast I was into my first fish. We used thruout the day Stoneflies,Oct caddis dries and pupas, stimmies,Hares ears, soft hackles and they all produced fish. This was definately one of my funnest and best days on the river and it was in awsome shape and looking better every day. I highly recomend booking a trip with John if you are ever looking for a great guide on the Yak, He has his own guide service and also books thru the Evening Hatch Ill post a link to a quicky site we put together for him and it has all his contact info there.

Thank you for sharing. Can you share any information about pricing? Even a ballpark figure would be great.

Greetings,

I read your Sept. 15th post and noticed you stated that John Lease had a book out. I checked the link but did not notice any information on how to obtain this book. If you could let me know that would be great.

While attending CWU I fished the Yak for a while. That is one fun river to fish, and those photos made me want to drive over from Spokane. Thanks for sharing.

Also do you know were I can get some info on the Spokane River? Anyone on the forum etc.

Thanks
