I'm gearing up for a trip to the lower Columbia for a shot at some summer steelhead action and was hoping to tap some of the collective wisdom here at Fishingnw. Any recommendations for one of the tribs in particular? I'm bank-bound, and I'm considering the Hood, East Fork Lewis, Washougal, Wind, or perhaps even one of the smaller tribs like Herman, Eagle, Abernathy, or Germany Creeks--or any other suggestions for streams open to summer steelhead. Any comments are welcome; and I'll keep quiet if anyone wants to send more specific details through a PM. We could even trade a little info if anyone has some interest in streams I'm a little more familiar with like the N. Oregon coastal streams or Blue Mountain streams.
